Crude palm oil prices edged up by 0.15 per cent to Rs 525.70 per 10 kg in futures trade today on pick-up in domestic demand and restricted arrivals from producing regions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June moved up by 80 paise, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 525.70 per 10 kg in business turnover of 3,674 lots.
The July contract was up by the same margin to Rs 524.90 per 10 kg in 633 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade to creation of positions by speculators on the back of pick-up spot demand against restricted arrivals from producing regions.
