Datamatics Global gains on AFC contract for Lucknow metro project
The automatic fare collection contract is valued at approximately Rs 64 crore
SI Reporter Mumbai Shares of Datamatics Global Services were up over 6% at Rs 54.65 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company said it has won a automatic fare collection contract for the North-South corridor (Phase 1A) of the Lucknow Metro Rail project.
The contract has been awarded to a consortium of Datamatics Global Services Ltd and Mikroelektronika at approximately Rs 64 crore to execute the automated fare collection systems for this prestigious metro project of the government, the company said in a release.
The stock opened at Rs 54.70 and touched a high of Rs 55.90. At 11:50am, over 72,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
