Shares of agrochemicals maker Dhanuka Agritech were trading higher by 4.5% to Rs 696, extending its month long rally on the NSE, after the company had launched herbicide-'SEMPRA' in February.
The stock opened at Rs 656 and touched a record high of Rs 705 on NSE. A combined 40,128 shares changed hands on the counter on NSE and BSE till 1038 hours.
In past one month, the stock rallied 40% from Rs 496 on February 10, compared with 2.4% rise in the benchmark CNX Nifty.

SEMPRA is a product of Nissan Chemical Industries Ltd., Japan and has been launched for the first time in India by Dhanuka Agritech, for control of weeds adversely affecting sugar-cane crop.
The company said, the product is ecofriendly and is said to benefit sugarcane growing areas including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Naidu. This will have positive impact on crop yields and farmer’s income.
