US stocks were mixed on Tuesday.
The Dow gained 50 points at 8,469 helped by pharma shares. Energy shares also rose as crude touched a six-month high of $60 a barrel. The Nasdaq, on the other hand, slipped 15 points (nearly 1%) to 1,716, with financial and technology shares being largely responsible for the fall.
Indian ADRs were mostly up.
Wipro soared 6% to $10.52. ICICI Bank surged 4% to $22.5.
Tata Communications and Dr Reddy's advanced 3% each to $22.74 and $11.68, respectively. Infosys rose 2.5% to $31.85.
Satyam, Sterlite and Tata Motors added around 1% each.
On the other hand, Patni Computers shed 1.5% at $7.97. Genpact declined 1% to $10.08.
