Stocks closed sharply higher on Wall Street yesterday. While the Dow zoomed 98 points to 10,759 - the best close since June 13, 2001, the Nasdaq Comp added 23 points to 2,151.Indian ADRs, however, closed on a mixed note. VSNL zoomed over 6% to $10.61. HDFC Bank advanced over 4% to $42.20. Tata Motors, Dr. Reddy's and Satyam also finished with gains. Infosys dropped 2% to $70.10. Wipro and ICICI Bank also declined.
