US stocks slumped on Monday after the results of the regional manufacturing data spoiled the optimism about the revival of the economy. This fall has been marked as the worst in a month.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 187 points ( 2%) to 8,612.13. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 22 points ( 2.38%) to 923.72. The Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 42 points ( 2.28%) to 1,816.38.
Almost all the Indian ADRs ended on a negative note on Monday.
Sterlite plunged 10% to $13.24 and Tata Motors shed 7% to $9.66
Tata Communications dropped 6% to $19.91 and Satyam declined 6.2% to $13.24.
ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Infosys slipped around 4.5% each to $29.82, $101.92 and $35.52, respectively.

Wipro and MTNL decreased 2.5% each to $11.95 and $4.43, respectively.
Genpact was down around 2% at $11.05.
Patni Computers advanced 4% to $10.45 and Dr Reddy's was up marginally at $14.89.
