News of positive economic data coupled with a host of good corporate news lifted the US market sentiment at close yesterday. While Dow Jones soared 85 points to 10,750, the Nasdaq ended flat at 2,053.Indian ADRs, too, largely had a good run on firm buying support. Infosys flared up nearly 5% to $69. While Satyam jumped 2.51% to $24.52, Wipro gained 2.35% to $22.20.ICICI Bank and Dr. Reddy's also ended in the green with marginal gains at $21.12 and $17.32, respectively. VSNL, however, shed 2% to $9.85 and HDFC Bank was down a per cent at $44.88.
