Construction firm Era Infra Engineering today said it has bought back zero-coupon convertible bonds worth $2.1 million (about Rs 10 crore) from its bondholders.
"The company has bought back zero coupon convertible bonds with an aggregate face value of $2.1 million," Era Infra Engineering said in a filing to the BSE.
A zero-coupon bond can be converted into common stock.
Earlier, the engineering firm had bought back its foreign currency convertible bonds worth $16 million (nearly Rs 76.6 crore) from the international markets, it added.
Shares of Era Infra were trading at Rs 111.70, down 2.53 per cent in afternoon trade on the BSE.
