The Nifty August futures are trading with a premium of 10 points at 4,372. Nifty futures has seen trades of around 99,500 contracts with net addition of nearly 15 lakh shares in open interest.
The Nifty 4,400 and 4,500 calls are the most active counters with trades of around 28,650 and 23,900 contracts, respectively so far. The 4,400 call has seen net addition of 7.40 lakh shares in open interest to 22.96 lakh shares, while the 4,500 call open interest has declined by 1.45 lakh shares to 33.58 lakh shares.
The 4,600 call has seen trades of 12,500 contracts and the open interest has gone up by 2.44 lakh shares to 34.52 lakh shares.
The 4,400 and 4,300 put are the most actively traded contracts with trades of around 23,760 and 21,370 contracts, respectively so far. The 4,400 put has seen net reduction of 1.81 lakh shares in open interest to 31.97 lakh shares, while the 4,300 put has seen net addition of 54,300 shares in open interest to 33.44 lakh shares.
The 4,200 put has seen trades of around 9,960 contracts and the open interest has declined by 1.21 lakh shares to 25.60 lakh shares.
