The March Nifty futures are trading at a discount of seven points to the spot Nifty at 3308. The April Nifty is at 3300 - a discount of 15 points and the May Nifty is at 3292 - discount of 23 points.The open interest in March futures has gone up by 5,00,000, and 12,05,300 in the April series. The May series has added just 700 in open interest.Tata Steel is the most actively traded stock futures. The March futures is at Rs 515, a preimum of Rs 2.50 to the cash market. SBI is trading at Rs 2 premium at Rs 1,000, and HLL is trading in tandem with the spot price at Rs 266.The Sensex is up 1% at 11,060 - up 110 points. The spot Nifty is at 3315 - up 35 points.
