 The aggregate market wealth of technology companies increased to Rs 19,217 crore from Rs 2,66,282 crore to Rs 2,85,499 crore. Infosys Technologies' market wealth appreciated by Rs 5,995 crore to Rs 71,729 crore and that of TCS by Rs 4,625 crore to Rs 70,030 crore.  Thirty-eight banks' market capitalisation jumped by Rs 8,913 crore to Rs 2,09,679 crore; that of 15 power companies by Rs 7,923 crore to Rs 1,38,886 crore and of 10 refineries by Rs 6,843 crore to Rs 2,31,806 crore. ONGC's market cap rose by Rs 3,914 crore to Rs 1,34,829 crore.  Over all, 29 stocks witnessed over Rs 1,000 crore rise in market capitalisation. Reliance Industries emerged a major gainer with his market capitalisation increasing by Rs 6,391 crore from Rs 1,03,330 crore on October 28 to Rs 1,09,722 crore on Monday.
