Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers in equities today even as the main index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sensex, finished with a marginal gain of 20 points.FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 3,378 crore and gross sales of Rs 3,027.55 crore resulting in a net investment of Rs 350.45 crore.Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net investors of worth Rs 341.35 crore, according to provisional data released by BSE.
