The Sensex opened marginally higher at 6,219 and gained more ground on strong buying in select countes to touch an early high of 6,250. The Sensex is now up 30 points at 6,247, while the Nifty has added six points to 1,927.ONGC and Reliance are up a rupee each at Rs 826 and Rs 542, respectively. While ITC has added Rs 5 to Rs 1,419, HLL is marginally Rs 133. Infosys is up Rs 9 at Rs 1,911. While Wipro is up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 632, Satyam is up a rupee at Rs 408.SBI has clocked a per cent gain (Rs 5) to Rs 604. While ICICI Bank is up Rs 2 at Rs 366, HDFC Bank is down a tad at Rs 537.HDFC has gained 1.74% (Rs 13) to Rs 748. Bharti has added 1.37% (Rs 3) to Rs 214.Ranbaxy, Dr. Reddy's and Cipla have commenced in the green at Rs 915, Rs 638 and Rs 268, respectively.
