Foreign Developers Eye India As Fdi Norms Eased

With the government last week opening the foreign direct investment (FDI) floodgates in township development, multinationals like Singapore-based Jurong Township Development, Bovis Lendlease, Malaysia-based Renong and US-based Cramelcrow and Bechtel Corporation have started doing the rounds as prospective investors.

At the same time, Indian builders are looking at it as an opportunity to make large-scale investments in township development.
