Importantly, 9 out of his top 10 holdings are in profit. His top picks include: Unichem Laboratories, Natco Pharma (both bought on September 6), Chambal Fertilisers, eClerx Services and Aurobindo Pharma — all up over 20 per cent. Barring Aurobindo Pharma, he has invested over Rs 50,000 in each of his other top picks. LIC Housing Finance, Manali Petrochemical, Gitanjali Gems and Zuari Industries are the top laggards, down 12-21 per cent each.

Vinay Khattar
