AFT Industries shares rose from Rs 61.75 on April 1, to yesterday's close of Rs 72.34, up 17.14 per cent on the BSE. During the same period the stock price of Bombay Burmah increased from Rs 54.70 to Rs 55.95 up 2.28 per cent. Dhunseri Tea gained from Rs 25.05 to Rs 28.40, up 13.37 per cent. |

Williamson Tea increased from Rs 82.25 to Rs 91.30, up 11 per cent and Goodricke moved up from Rs 34.40 to Rs 50.90, up 47.96 per cent. |

Harrisons Malayalam climbed from Rs 25.30 to Rs 27.80, up 9.88 per cent, and Jay Shree Tea appreciated from Rs 53.05 to Rs 68.20, or 28.55 per cent. |

Ledo Tea shares rose from Rs 19.50 to 27.00, up 38.46 per cent. Tata Tea rose from Rs 340.15 to Rs 387.45, a rise of 13.90 per cent. |

Assam Co closed at Rs 25.60 from Rs 20.90 around three months earlier, in April. Warren Tea increased from Rs 44.05 to Rs 54.60. |

Assambrook shares fell from Rs 15.73 to Rs 15 during the same period as did Sterling Biotech which closed at Rs 118.65, down 17 per cent from Rs 143.40. CCL Products too dropped from Rs 75.00 to Rs 60.30. |
