The stocks of companies engaged in the base metals business have gained in the last three months from September to December on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
 
Share price of Binani Industries rose from Rs 22.30 on September 1, to today's close of Rs 27.80, up 24.6 per cent on the BSE.
 
During the same period the stock price of Hindustan Copper increased from Rs 32.00 to Rs 35.40, up by 10.62 per cent.
 
Hindustan Zinc increased from Rs 90.45 to Rs 119.00 up 31.56 per cent. Precision Wires gained from Rs 56.25 to Rs 87.05, up 54.75 per cent. Share price of Shivalik Bimetal Controls gained from Rs 121.10 to Rs 187.65.
 
Sterlite Industries rose from Rs 513.60 to Rs 564.04. SWIL firmed up from Rs 9.38 to Rs 12.90. Tinplate strengthened from Rs 38.70 to Rs 49.60.
 
Ram Ratna Wires rose from Rs 11.22 to Rs 16.84 and Gujarat Intrux from Rs 13.23 to Rs 17.00.
