Jaiprakash (JP) Associates and Reliance Infrastructure have soared around 6.5% each to Rs 163 and Rs 822, respectively.
ACC has zoomed nearly 5% to Rs 501. Maruti, Bharti Airtel, Satyam, SBI and ITC have rallied around 4.5% each to Rs 576, Rs 749, Rs 483, Rs 1,178 and Rs 178, respectively.
ICICI Bank and Hindustan Unilever have advanced around 4% each to Rs 625 and Rs 625, respectively.
