Shares of Gemini Communication rose 8.67 per cent to Rs 14.17, after the company bagged India’s first mobile Wimax project. The above Rs 67 crore order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for supply, implementation and maintenance of BSNL’s rural mobile Wimax project in telecom circles of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Orissa.
The stock made an intraday high of Rs 14.34 and a low of Rs 12.7 with trading volumes of 2.51 lakh shares (around 2.5 times higher than its two-week average). The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 56.6 and a low of Rs 12.65.
