GMR Infrastructure has gained 2% to Rs 26 on the BSE after the firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japanese Bank for international cooperation (JBIC) for financial assistance.
The MoU was signed during the course of the State visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Japan.
The objective of MoU is to provide low cost long duration financial assistance to Japanese companies investing in infrastructure projects of GMR Group. Over the next 12 months, GMC and JBIC will work on identifying projects to attract Japanese investments.
Shares of GMR Infrastructure opened at Rs 25.80, touched a high of Rs 26.50 and a low of Rs 25.60 on the BSE so far. A total of 1,765,017 shares have been exchanged on the BSE so far.
