Shirish B Godbole has been appointed the India head of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, the investment bank’s global real estate investment management arm. Godbole was with Goldman Sachs’ Real Estate Principal Investments group before getting involved with real estate entrepreneurial ventures in India. The appointment marks his return to Morgan Stanley. He first joined the firm in1994 in the securitized products group in New York, moving to London in 2000 as the CFO of MSREI Europe. In 2004, he became co-head of the firm’s commercial real estate finance in Europe.
