Gold prices rose by Rs 74 to Rs 26,696 per 10 grams in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in December was trading higher by Rs 74 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 26,696 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 256 lots.
February gold edged up by Rs 39 or 0.15 per cent to Rs 26,892 per 10 grams in five lots.
Meanwhile, gold rose 0.2 per cent to trade at almost seven-week high of $1,158.20 an ounce in Singapore.

Market analysts said speculators enlarged their positions on the back of a firming global trend, supporting the upside in gold prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, gold rose 0.2 per cent to trade at almost seven-week high of $1,158.20 an ounce in Singapore.
