Gram dal and sugar prices down

Prices of gram dal and sugar declined in the wholesale foodgrains market here today, but the rates for other commodities remained unchanged.

Gram dal moved down by Rs 50 to Rs 3,000 per quintal from yesterday's rate of Rs 3,050, while sugar fell by Rs 20 to Rs 2,880 per quintal from Rs 2900 yesterday.

Toor dal, urad dal, moong dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji were being traded at yesterday's levels.
