Gram, its dal strengthen on retailers demand

Gram and its dal prices strengthened by to Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market today on rising retailers demand. 

Other commodities, continued to trade in tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels. 

Traders said rising retailers demand against restricted arrivals mainly helped gram and its dal prices to move up moderately.

In the national capital, gram added Rs 50 to Rs 2,450-2,475, while gram dal local and best quality were traded higher by the similar margin to Rs 2,750-2,765 and Rs 2,850-2,950 per quintal.
