Gram, its dal up on retailers demand

Gram and its dal prices rose up by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on pick-up in retailer demand.

Market analysts attributed the rise in gram and its dal prices to pick up in retailers demand. Gram rose by Rs 25 to Rs 2,525-2,550, while its dal local and best quality gained Rs 50 each to Rs 3,000-3,015 and Rs 3,100-3,225 per quintal respectively. 

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal: 

Urad 3,950-4,350, Urad chilka (local) 4,850-5,250, best 5,400-5,900, Dhoya 5,350-5,450, Moong 3,930-4,930, Dal moong chilka local 4,900-5,300, Moong Dhoya local 5,200-5,400 and best quality 5,800-6,000

Masoor small 2,750-2,950, bold 2,900-3,150, Dal Masoor local 3,250-3,350, best quality 3,550-3,850, Malka local 3,350-3,400, best 3,500-3,600, Moth 1,700-2,000, Arhar 3,250-3,750, dal arhar dara 4,850-5,250

Gram 2,525-2,550, gram dal (local) 3,000-3,015, best quality 3,100-3,225, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,150, Rajdhani 1,150, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,800-4,200, China 4,000-4,200, red 4,100-4,200
