Gram, malka decline on sluggish demand

Gram and malka prices declined up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand, against adequate stocks.

Sluggish demand against adequate supply in the market mainly led to decline in wholesale gram and malka prices, traders said.  

In the national capital, gram declined by Rs 25 to Rs 2,500-2,525 and its dal local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 2,775-2,790 and Rs 2,875-2,975 per quintal, respectively.  

Malka local and best quality lost Rs 100 each to Rs 3,600-3,650 and Rs 3,750-3,850 per quintal, respectively.
