Good growth prospects for the industry, as proved by the impressive quarterly results by major sugar companies, have attracted buying from all sections of the market.
The stock prices of most sugar companies have been hitting the upper circuit filter on the BSE. The market capitalisation of all the listed sugar companies has improved 19.18 per cent from Rs 1047.04 crore to Rs 1247.88 crore in the last three months.
