Gujarat Apollo Industries, engaged in the construction of roads and manufacturing maintenance equipment, rose 4.64 per cent to close at Rs 183.95 after its board recommended the issue of bonus shares in the proportion of one share for every two shares held.
The stock made an intraday high of Rs 206.95 and a low of Rs 180.25. The total traded quantity was 89,543 shares vis-à-vis the two-week average of 1,223 shares. The stock made a 52-week high of Rs 399 on January 2 and a 52-week low of Rs 150 on July 2 this year.
