Lethargic conditions persisted in the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today, with prices continued to be asked at previous levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended flat in thin trade.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position, against small buying support, mainly held gur prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotations per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,200-2,250, pedi Rs 2,200-2,250, Dhayya Rs 2,250-2,300 and Shakkar Rs 2,400-2,450
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,750-1,850, chakku Rs 2,000-2,200 and Khurpa Rs 1,950-2,000
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,000-2,050 and Dhaya Rs 2,000-2,050
