Gur futures ease on profit booking

Gur prices eased by Rs 2.60 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 806 per 40 kg in futures trade today on profit booking by traders at existing higher levels.

Marketmen said fresh selling by traders at higher levels held gur prices to trade lower.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange platform, the gur prices for November contract delivery dipped by Rs 2.60, or 0.32 per cent to Rs 806 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 1,700 lots.

July-month contract delivery too shed marginally by Rs 2.00 or 0.20 per cent to Rs 975.20 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 17,970 lots.
