Gur futures recover on low level buying

Gur prices recovered by Rs 4.60, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 977 per 40 kg, in futures trading today on low level buying by traders after the commodity fell in last few trading sessions.

Marketmen said traders created fresh positions to purchase gur at existing lower levels.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange platform, the gur chakku prices for July contract delivery at Muzzafarnagar recovered by Rs 4.60, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 977 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 10,480 lots.

September-month contract delivery also moved up by Rs 4.60, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 934.40 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 7,650 lots.
