Gur market remains steady on thin trade

The wholesale jaggery market remained unchanged in the national capital today on restricted arrivals against scattered buying. 

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also hovered around previous levels in the absence of buying support. 

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against demand, held gur prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal.

Chakku Rs 2,400-2,450, pedi 2,550-2,600, Dhayya Rs 2,600-2,650 and Shakkar Rs 2,700-2,800
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,850-1,925, chakku Rs 2,300-2,400 and Khurpa Rs 2,150-2,200
In Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,250-2,300 and Dhaya Rs 2,300-2,350
