Gur remains quiet in thin trade

There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale jaggery market today, as prices continued to move in limited range on alternate small bouts of trading before ending at last levels.

Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur prices also traded at last levels in the absence of buying support.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, Pedi Rs 2,900-3,000 and Dhayya N.T., shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,000-2,050, chakku Rs 2,400-2,575 and Khurpa N.T
In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,700-2,750 and Dhaya N.A
