Gur remains steady in thin trade

There was no change in trading pattern of the wholesale gur (jaggery) market today, as prices continued to hover around overnight levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also finished at last levels in the absence of buying support.

Mareketmen said small buying support and reduced arrivals held gur prices unaltered.
    
Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:
    
Chakku Rs 2,850-2,900, Pedi Rs 3,000-3050 and Dhayya N.T., shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
    
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,750-1,850, chakku Rs 2,550 -2,650 and Khurpa N.T.
    
In Muradnagar: Pedi N.A. And Dhaya N.A.
