Gur turns weak on ample supply

Gur prices turned weak by Rs 50 per quintal in the national capital today following increased arrivals amid reduced offtake.

Muzzafarnagar gur market also witnessed a downfall up to Rs 75 per quintal on fresh supply along with slack demand at higher levels.

In Delhi, gur chakku dipped by Rs 50 to settle at Rs 2,850-2,900 from Rs 2,900-2,950 per quintal.

Pedi also lean down by Rs 50 to Rs 3,050-3,100 instead of Rs 3,100-3,150 per quintal. At Muzzafarnagar, gur chakku slipped from  Rs 2,675- 2,775 to Rs 2,600-2,700 per quintal. 

Gur raskat also fell from Rs 2,025-2,150 to Rs 2,000- 2,100 per quintal on reduced offtake by beer makers.

Chakku Rs 2,850-2,900, Pedi Rs 3,050-3,100, Dhayya N.T. and Shakkar Rs 3,200-3,300.
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,000-2,100 chakku Rs 2,600 -2,700 and Khurpa N.T      In Muradnagar: Pedi N.A. And Dhaya N.A
