The HCL Technologies scrip rose 6.12 per cent to Rs 341.7 on inking a five-year contract with Oncor. The company signed a five-year IT Infrastructure Management deal with Oncor to connect and support Oncor corporate functions, grid management operations and community-based field service centers.
With this contract, HCL would be investing in both the utilities sector and in Texas, through a development centre in Dallas. Total trading volumes in Thursday’s trade stood at 7.4 lakh shares.
