HCL Technologies is trading higher by 2% at Rs 791 in otherwise weak market after the information technology consulting and software firm said that has bagged a multi-year infrastructure management services contract of $100 million from US-based automaker Ford Motor Company.
“The value of the five-year contract is estimated to be close to $100 million approximately Rs 544 crore,” the Business Standard report suggests.
The stock opened has at Rs 787 and touched a high of Rs 793 on BSE. A combined 302,554 shares have changed hands on the counter so far on BSE and NSE. The BSE Sensex is down by 67 points or 0.36% at 18,638 at 0925 hours.
