HDFC up 3.5%; Sterlite loses 5.4%

The Sensex is now trading at 12,531, down 65 points.

The Nifty is trading at 3825 points, down 25 points.

HDFC has advanced 3.5% to Rs 2104. Jaiprakash Associates is up 2.15% to Rs 109. M&M, ONGC and SBI are up over 1% each. 

Tata Steel is down 6.4% to Rs 417. Sterlite has lost 5.4% to Rs 401, Tata Power has declined 3.7% to Rs 884. Grasim, DLF, RCom and L&T are down over 2% each.
