High density polymer weakens in thin trade

In thin trading, high density polymer showed weakness in the local plastic market today due to fall in demand from moulding units.

However, other polymers such as low density (LD) and polypropylene (PP), held steady in the absence of worthwhile activity.

Marketmen said absence of demand from moulding units led to a fall in high density (HD) polymer prices.  

HD moulding (deshi) fell by Re one to Rs 77 per kg, while HD blowing shed 50 paisa at Rs 77.50 per kg.
