Hindalco GDR up 0.36%

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 0.71 per cent to 1229.43 in the early morning trades on Tuesday. Among ISDI GDR stocks, 1 advanced, 3 remained unchanged and 3 lost ground.

The only gainer was Hindalco, up 0.36 per cent to $25.14 with volume of 25,000 GDRs. The losers were Ranbaxy, down 0.95 per cent to $26 with volume of 10,000 GDRs, L&T, down 0.58 per cent to $25.70 with volume of 58,680 GDRs and Reliance, down 0.42 per cent to $25.89 with volume of 136,000 GDRs.

Among the ISDI ADRs, 5 advanced and 3 lost ground. The major gainers were Wipro, up 3 per cent to $21.60, ICICI Bank, up 2.64 per cent to $21.03 and HDFC Bank, up 1.22 per cent to $42.16.

The losers were MTNL, down 2.26 per cent to $6.50, Satyam, down 0.60 per cent to $25 and Dr Reddy's, down 0.18 per cent to $16.53.

Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 0.78 per cent to 1230.32 on Monday and as trading at a P/E of 19.60.
