In order to utilise the service, the members need to have a router installed at their end with a single or multi-port. This is expected to cost anywhere between Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 . HSE Securities is currently recording a daily turnover of over Rs 30 crore in the cash segment and Rs 20 crore on F&O segment in NSE and Rs 1.50 crore in BSE. "The number of transactions is going up everyday with the uptrend in the market. We felt the need to strengthen the systems to support this. The 64 Kbps leased lines will provide the much-needed comfort," a senior official of the exchange said. HSE believes that the upgradation of the network with the 64 kbps leased lines will immensely help its members, especially with the possibility of Indonext exchange initiative taking shape in the next few months. According to sources, a sub-committee has been formed, with the active initiative of BSE, to work out the moralities of the Indonext exchange. The sub-committee's report, to be finalised in a month's time, will be submitted to SEBI for its consent. Since BSE is showing keen interest on the new initiative, it likely to give a fresh lease of life to regional exchanges. |
