IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has rallied 5% to Rs 62.80 after the company said it has bagged Rs 105 crore contract from Lodha Group for civil construction work of proposed residential buildings in Mumbai.
"IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Lodha Group for civil construction works of proposed residential buildings in phase II of Palava, Khoni village near Dombivli in Mumbai," the company said in a statement.
The completion period for the entire work is 322 days, the company said.
IL&FS Engineering said it is currently executing 'Orchid Heights', a high rise residential buildings project at Byculla in Mumbai that involves construction of two rise towers.
The stock opened at Rs 62.20 and touched high of Rs 64.60 on NSE. A combined 68,171 shares changed hands on the counter so far on NSE and BSE.
