Indian ADRs end in the red

Most of the Indian ADRs ended on a negative note on back of lacklustre trade on Wall Street as investors turned to the sidelines ahead of first-quarter earnings season.

Some of IT companies posted losses, Wipro declined 0.4% and TCS fell 0.3%, however Genpact was up 0.6% and Infosys added 1.1%.

India's Telephone service provider MTNL ADR was down 0.9%. From the auto pack Tata Motors declined 2.6%. 

From the healthcare space, Dr Reddy's was down 1.8%. From the metal pack, Sterlite Industries edged lower by 3.3%.

Investors cashed out of banking shares, HDFC Bank was off 0.4% and ICICI Bank declined 0.8%.
