IT stocks had a good run, Infosys Technologies ended at $69.49, up 0.64 points or 0.93%, Wipro ended at $15.73, Up 0.18 points or 1.16%, Patni Computer System ended down 0.4% at $20.17, Satyam Computer Services closed at $3.86, Up 0.09 points or 2.4%. Investors also cashed in on banks, HDFC Bank closed at $187.23, up 0.06 points or 0.03%, ICICI Bank surged to $51.51, up 0.42 points or 0.82%. Auto stocks also had a smooth ride, Tata Motors ended at $26.69, up 0.09 points or 0.34% Mahanagar Telephone Nigam ended flat at $2.89 and Sify ended at $2.29, down 0.1 points or 5.37%. Rediff.com ended down 1.4% at $4.84.
