Tata Motors ended at $21, weaker by $0.9 or 4.1% and Tata Communication ended at $14, lower by $0.4 or 3.3%.
In the banking space, HDFC Bank ended at $159, weaker by $3.1 or 1.9% and ICICI Bank ended at $40, lower by $0.6 or 1.4%.
Among the other weak pockets, Sterlite ended at $12, lower by $0.3 or 2.2% and Patni Computers ended at $19, down $0.4 or 2.2%.
