Indian ADRs gained on Wednesday. MTNL surged 5% to $2.83.
ICICI Bank added 2.2% to $44.42. Sterlite and Genpact advanced 2% each to $14.35 and $15.35, respectively.
Tata Communications and Infosys were up around 1.5% each. Wipro, Patni Computers and HDFC Bank also advanced marginally.
However, Dr Reddy's slipped 0.3% to $30.43.
