Indian ADRs mostly down on Monday

The Indian ADRs in the US closed on a weak note on Monday. Only three out of the twelve ADRs ended positively.

Pharma major Dr Reddy's Laboratories shed nearly 4% to close at $37.71, while HDFC Bank slipped 2% at $160.97. Tata Motors at $29.78, Satyam Computer Services at $2.73, Genpact at $14.99, MTNL at $2.41, ICICI Bank at $48.79, and Patni Computer Systems at $20.10 all lost between 0.5%-1% in Monday's trading session.

Infosys also ended the day flat, in the negative though, at $73.75. Friday's negative run continued into Monday as well.

Amongst the highest gainers, Tata Communications moved up almost 1% at $10.84, followed by Wipro, the only tech ADR to end positively, at $15.05, and Sterlite Industries, which traded flat with a positive bias, at $14.98.
