The Dow Jones rallied 104 points to 11,076. The Nasdaq moved up 12 points to 2262. The US crude oil futures for April delivery slipped 51 cents to settle at $59.96 a barrel on the NYMEX.The Indian ADRs ended with smart gains. While VSNL zomed 7% to $17.39, MTNL soared 6% to $7.34. Infosys ($70.02), Satyam ($39.90), Wipro ($13.96), ICICI Bank ($29.95) and Dr.Reddy's ($29.95) were up 1-2% each.
