Indo-S Africa bilateral trade to reach $15 bn

The value of India-South Africa bilateral trade is expected to reach $15 billion by 2014, according to Pule Malefane, consul-general, Republic of South Africa.

“The commercial relationship between India and South Africa has flourished since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1993. On the trade front, the value of bilateral trade was $6.3 billion in 2010-11 and is expected to reach $15 billion by 2014,” Malefane said at an interactive meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Devendra Surana, president, Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (Fapcci) said, “Over 70 of the 500 top global corporations are present in Andhra Pradesh. The state offers a wide range of fiscal and policy incentives for businesses under the Industrial Investment Promotion Policy 2010-2015.”
