<b>Infosys impact:</b> Sensex soars 280pts

 SBI has zoomed nearly 4% to Rs 1,005. Bajaj Auto and Tata Steel have rallied over 3% each to Rs 2,423 and Rs 511, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and ICICI Bank have moved up around 2.5% each to Rs 1,608 and Rs 870, respectively. Reliance Communications is up over 2% at Rs 418.

Out of 2,235 stocks traded so far, 1,545 have advanced, 623 have declined and 67 are unchanged.
